First tenor - First 8 string - I'm all in!!
Beautiful full clear sound. This was my first tenor uke so it took a couple of minutes to adjust to the size difference. I am a woman but had absolutely no problem having the strength to handle the double strings (despite what other reviewers commented). Be patient with the tuning- you'll get there. I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Love the look and sound of my ukulele. Would recommend product to friends and family. The price/sale at the time of purchase when I was looking to purchase was the deciding factor, but when I received it I was estatic at the sound of it. Down side I didn't purchase a case, extra strings, and tuner (hind sight ). Can't wait to play at next family gatherings to show it off.

Another Great Insrrument From Oscar Schmidt
The OU28T is a real bargain. It's finished beautifully and plays smoothly. It has a very nice tone. (sounds like a mini 12 string guitar) It takes a lot of tuning before it settles in but,don't be discouraged it's worth it.

Love the harmonics!
I'm basically a strummer and the blending of octaved notes in G and C, along with the doubled E's andA's, make for one harmonic sound like no other. I simply enjoy playing this 8-string uke!

I have been playing guitars and stringed instruments for over 50 years.I originally bought this item with the thought of havng a ukele with more depth and volume. After playing it for a while I was surprised to realise that not only was it could be a "chorusy" uke but it also had a mandolin and lute feel as well. This is a superb, well made, versatile instrument that just makes you want to pick it up whenever you see it and I would thoroughly recommend it. This is my happiest purchase for a long time.
