Mounted mine outdoors. Got excellent signal 35 miles away from towers. I split it to two TVs. It did cut the signal down but still acceptable. You may need a good low noise amplifier if you plan on more than two TVs.

We recived the antenna and started putting it together. It was missing 5 screws and bold. So we had to find ones to fit. Got it together and get great reception and all good channels plus some.

It works pretty well for picking up local stations. I don't watch a lot of network tv, but it is a good backup to my iptv. Mine was shipped without a mast. I made my own and installed it in the attic. I doubt it is durable enough to mount to the roof.

I have it mounted in a bad spot, semi blocked & mounted low, and it picks up all my channels.

I PUT THIS ANTENNA ON MY ROOF RAISED UP ABOUT 8' ON A POLE. I STUCK THE POLE INTO THE OLD SATELLITE DISH MOUNT. I GET THE 3 NETWORK CHANNELS I WANTED FROM MAYBE 35 MILES AWAY. I THINK I COULD GET MORE IF I ROTATED IT WHEN I CHANGED CHANNELS BUT I GET THE ONES I WANT WITHOUT MOVING IT. I CUT THE CABLE AND STILL SEE MY LOCAL NEWS. I DON'T THINK FOR ME IT WOULD WORK AS AN ATTIC ANTENNA BECAUSE I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN WITH NO CLOSE CHANNELS AND THE TREES WOULD BE IN THE WAY. BE PATIENT AND IT WILL ASSEMBLE JUST FINE. IT TOOK 45 MINUTES TO FIGURE IT OUT, USE THE PICTURE ON THE BOX.
