The scan feature is not easy to use. It only wants to save them to a photo file, which is not good for documents. Set up very easy and the price was great. you get what you paid for....

Design and Appearance. This is a very sleek and stylish ink jet printer that leaves a small footprint. It’s less than 17 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and only 5.7 inches high. Weight is 8.5 lbs. The 2655 comes in two colors, white and blue. However the “blue” is also actually white with blue trim on the top of the printer. Functions. The Deskjet 2655 can scan, copy and print in black-and-white and color. It can handle duplex printing which was a surprise for such an inexpensive printer. It cannot fax, and that is expected for most printers in this price range. The paper tray can hold 60 sheets and the output tray can hold 25 pages. It handles all sizes from 3 x 5 to letter and legal (8.5 x 14). Software and Set Up. The Deskjet 2655 does not come with software. You download it from the hp website. I installed it on three devices: Surface Pro 3 tablet, Samsung S2 tab, and an all-in-one HP computer. The software downloads in about three minutes. It took about twenty minutes to install and make the software operational. The Deskjet 2655 can wirelessly connect directly to your smartphone or tablet without the need for a network. However if you already have a network you can connect this way as well, wirelessly or with the included USB printer cable. Performance. The Deskjet 2655 flawlessly handled a variety of paper types including cardstock. While Hp shows 7.5 ppm for black in the specs, I got 9.5 ppm. For standard quality color I had 4.3 ppm versus the 5.5 stated in the specs. Scanning was very effective and you can scan up to 1200 dpi. Duplex printing was flawless. For this type of printer, you print Side 1 of all your pages first, then insert these pages again and print Side 2. Images for both black-and-white and color were excellent and could not be separated from much more expensive printers except for the ppm rate. I was successful in sending printer commands via the included USB cable and wirelessly. Replacement cartridges (one black, and one color) retail for $25.99 retail for the pair, not bad at all in comparison to other cartridges. Summary. A great, inexpensive printer for the budget-conscious buyer. It can do virtually all of what other printers do for far less cost. Read full review

I have been using a computer for close to 30 years. I have never used any type of printer but HP. I find HP to be a reliable firm. I once had a HP laptop and had a problem with it, they exchanges the laptop at no expense.. My problem with printers, is I don't use as much as more, and the ink dries out and clogs the system..

It truly is easy to set up. I used to have to go to Office Depot or somewhere similar to send documents, with the scanner feature it is amazing. It prints both great on paper documents and picture documents. I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone not in big business, but need occasional or everyday things printed. I used it for my college papers and it is great. The price, well you just can't beat it and it comes with two cartridges of ink and I have had 2 sent to me since I got the printer only about a month ago.
