    buy one its great sounding

    great banjo real good price frets smooth ,just did some tweeking [ie] changed strings,installed no knot tail piece and compensated bridge now plays and sounds like very expensive instrument.

    Small investment, big returns

    Better than any other banjo in its price range. I had to file and smooth the ends of a couple of sharp frets. Other than that, everything else I did was just personal preference. I installed a no-knot tailpiece and LaBella nylon strings. I also swapped the armrest for a NOS wooden one and a Grover bridge. It sounds great and plays great.
