This Rowenta DW5080 iron is high quality, easy to use and gives great results. The fact that it uses tap water and not distilled is an excellent feature. It has all the features I want in an iron, including burst of steam, spray, steam or dry, full range temperature control, special tip for tight spots, plus the polished stainless steel sole plate glides along very smoothly. I should also mention that it heats up very quickly, saving time. I have no reason to look for any other iron, this one makes me happy. Also, being made in Germany, and not China, is a great bonus!

Produces a lot of steam but leaks drops occasionally. Found the visual instructions confusing so called the 800 number and was told they're "generic" so might not apply to my model. No simple on/off switch. Very awkward to fill. Diagram shows lying flat but no way to tell when filled unless upright.

Unfortunately when I bought this product it came from the States so is incompatible with UK voltage. I even purchased a voltage converter but the iron is 1700w and the converter 45w so that didn’t work either. The iron is 120v and the UK is 240v so cannot be used. Probably a really lovely iron if you live in the USA. A lesson learnt.
