Very interactive. Love the hatching experience and the stage 5 games are fun for everyone. Make sure you unscrew the bottom correctly when unpackaging. We had two for Christmas, one for each child. One worked perfectly and the other did not. There is that risk. And they are impossible to find after the holiday. My daughter has been so patient this week waiting and she was thrilled this morning to have a perfectly functioning new baby. It does very well at sensing when it’s “being taken care of” so it doesn’t hatch or advance stages when you are not around.
