This bonding system is cool, the UV light catalyzes the gel to harden immediately. Only caution I have is that it's not great at sticking slick, smooth surfaces together. Stuffing the surfaces with sandpaper helps it stick better. Rougher surfaces are no problem and it stickswell and cures every bit as hard as epoxy. I approve of this product and recommend it.

The glue does get hard as a rock when the UV light is applied, but the problem is that the glue itself does not stick properly to the item being repaired. I made sure that the item to repair was cleaned with acetone (meaning non-greasy), and it was also sanded so it had rough surfaces for the glue to adhere. Based on this finding, my assessment is as follows... if you need to spot repair something where just a few drops of the liquid are able to be applied, it does not stick. If you have the luxury of globing the glue completely around the item to be repaired such that the glue is bonding to itself (all the way around the object to be repaired), then it does stick (to itself) very well. I tried to repair my broken item three times (using different techniques for applying the glue), but each attempt was unsuccessful. At the end of the day, I am disappointed with this product. I paid a lot of money for a kit with refills, and I feel that I have wasted my money.Read full review

I purchased this kit to try and seal up several cracks in an 800 gallon plastic water tank. I was particularly interested in the small nozzle to get into the small cracks in the tank. Every thing went as planned except when I filled the tank with water, water just poured out of the crack. Did not hold. Another problem is when I went to use it again the next day with a new stratagem for using the glue, the small tube end was clogged up and I was not able to clean it out. It does harden quickly with the uv light provided. Do I recommend it? Well maybe for some applications of which I have not tried. Good quality? Gave the product the benefit of the doubt as I have not tried others. TT

Finally got to play "dentist." Although still need 3 hands, one to hold each piece being glued and one to hold the UV light but other than that it is cool to have glue set that quickly and with the exception of my dentures, it holds things really well (and nothing holds dentures).

Bondic is a marvel for repairing antique Christmas glass decorations! Broken tops and missing glass hooks can be re-built just like a free-hand 3-D printer! Bondic can be used to join broken pieces or build up missing areas. Things I would have thrown away before are now able to rejoin the Christmas tree! It also works to fix broken false fingernails! Beware of a Chinese knock-off that isn't anyway half as good but uses "Bondic" in it's advertising to fool you. Bondic isn't cheap, but it lasts a very long time--I just started my second tube after over a year of use. Often only a drop or two is needed.
