I've bought a cheaper compressor from Harbor Freight Tools which worked but it was very noisy. It didn't have a tank so the air pressure to the airbrush was pulsating. This Paasche compressor is very quiet and has a tank.

Only gave it 2 stars because in all reality it seems like it would be a great compressor. Was surprised at how quiet it is. But after running it for about 15 minutes the motor burnt up on it. Sent it back for a refund. I must of got a lemon.
