everything is great except the gps. having to calibrate each time you go to a different spot is very tedious and annoying. i just disable it each flight. if you dont calibrate or disable it, it will glitch out and lose signal. learned the hard way, but was lucky the plane hit some soft grass.

IT FLIES GREAT, BUT THE LANDING IS AN ADVENTURE. ON MY SECOND FLIGHT I LANDED IN GRASS AND WHEN I PICKED THE PLANE UP THE TAIL WHEEL HAD BROKEN OFF. WHEN I CHECKED IT OUT THERE WERE TWO TOOTHPICKS IN THE FOAM, THIS LOOKS LIKE A REPAIR JOB AT THE FACTORY. NOW WHEN YOU SPEND A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING YOU DON'T EXPECT TO SEE TOOTHPICKS HOLDING IT TOGETHER. THE ADVISE I GOT FROM HOBBY ZONE WAS JUST TO GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER. THAT IS NOT A VERY GOOD ANSWER, NOW IF I HAD BROKEN IT MYSELF THAT WOULD BE A DIFFERENT STORY. THIS NOT VERY GOOD PRODUCT SUPPORT! SO FOR THAT REASON I DON'T THINK I WILL BE BUYING FROM THEM ANYTIME SOON EXCEPT IF THEY ARE THE ONLY COMPANY I CAN GET REPLACEMENT PARTS FROM. SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU BUT IT YOUR WHEELS MIGHT FALL OFF!

In the instructions there were illustrations of the screws used to assemble the plan and some of them were machine screws with flat ends, and some of them were illustrated with points on the ends, not machined. I actually had to break some of the tile and re-glue it with epoxy because I got one of the screws stuck in the tail assembly. Other than that the plane is very powerful!

Once you crash a plane it never really flies quite the same ever again, I know, I've done this many times. Although this is for a beginner pilot, I'm going to enjoy the safety it provides when it's not a perfect day but I still want to go fly. These 72 year old thumbs are getting pretty stiff and sometimes over-react. I'd like to have this flight system in all my planes just as a fail-safe.

Went nose in on a muddy, soft field. Pilot error but it is repaired. Propeller was relaced and lots of work to wing mounts. I'm learning on this plane and have a brand new one just like it still in the box. When I get better I'll fly the new one and my Cub S "trainer" will always be my favorite.
