Works great for my two kayaks. Only complaint is that you need about 17 inches from the ceiling to the top side of the kayak. So, total distance from ceiling to bottom of the kayak will be about 17" plus the height of the kayak. Make sure you have plenty of clearance before buying. For me this was about 32 inches of clearance required.
