great tools just not the best value
I purchased this combo thinking it was the best deal but I was in Home Depot picking up some electrical materials for a job and took a moment to see how good my deal really was, unfortunately I did not get the best deal. I found this combo kit to be priced lower so the combo plus tax was cheaper and available on the spot. I do like the quality of the product. I just did not come out on the better end of the deal this time.

Good but lacks hammer drill mode on drill.
This is a good drill and impact for the price but the drill lacks the hammer drill mode for drilling into concrete. Had I known I would of held out and spent more money on one that does. Live and learn. If that's not important, this is a good choice for the money.

I'm a contractor Makita is my go-to brand.
I Makita makes a very good product this is my third set I purchased. My first set the check went bad on the Drill and I've had two batteries wear out on me over 8 years. I think that's a pretty good track record for cordless power tools.

Supurb product
This product is a perfect example of Makita's legendary quality and durability. I have used these drills for years, dropped them, dragged them through the mud, and they still keep on working like champs. It's well worth every penny because it's the last drill you will ever buy! I especially love the LED light that shines on what you are working on. The Lithium Ion battery lasts insanely long, and the 18 volts gives this drill amazing power and torque. I do wish, however, that it had a place to store bits directly attached to the drill. Many other drills have a small slot that you can snap your extra bits / drivers into. Other than that, this product will not disappoint! I don't sell products that I don't stand behind and believe in 100%.

My husband was so happy to get this from me as a gift. It is a beautiful teal color and has an amazing case! He said it is light weight and works perfectly, now he wants all the other makita tools from this line. The seller was very quick to ship the item.
