My original Garmin Forerunner 220 met most of my running needs. But I also wanted the HR capability and to eliminate the need for a separate activity/step tracker. This 235 is working out great to cover those additional features. I'm really happy with it so far.

Thrilled with this watch! It does seem to credit me with fewer steps than my old fitbit, but that just means I need to up my step game. It's attractive (love being able to download fun watch faces) and syncs up with my iPhone much better than than my old Garmin Fenix2. Super lightweight in comparison as well.

I bought a Garmin 230 because I didn't think I'd use the light sensor to determine my heart rate. However, when I decided to monitor my heart rate during the day, I bought this Garmin 235. I really am glad I made the upgrade. The battery has to be charged once a day because I have the constant heart rate monitoring on and notifications as well. It is certainly worth the money. By the way, my friend and running partner needed an upgrade on his Garmin and bought my 230 which was only 9 months old.

I like all the features and it is the perfect size. I like that it is lightweight. Wish the weather feature didn't need an app.
