This steam press makes ironing much more enjoyable, saves time and provides great results. It is light-weight, stores vertically and it has temperature selections to match the fabric being ironed. Follow the included instructions and the product is an extraordinary easy-to-use time saver. I do find that cotton pants are still better ironed using a steam hand-held iron. Yet, one can use the steam press for re-creasing the legs of pants before date night.

its only good for flat straight cloths....design is poor and spreading the cloth over the board burns your hand every now and then cos your hand gets touched with hot surface. water container is not big enough to support the amount used for steam production.

I had a Singer steam presser for years. It has now passed. I decided to purchase a new one and I have to say, the new model has been improved and I'm even happier that before. It heats up quickly, it's lightweight but not too light, the burst of steam is powerful and it has an auto shutoff feature which comes in handy when I space out. Be very careful though, because you can seriously burn yourself. After a particularly nasty burn I bought myself a very long pair of ballgown style satin gloves that go all the way to my arms, cut the finger tips off and voila, no more burns!

This is the perfect sized unit for all my ironing/pressing needs. As a single, Hetro male, I hate ironing but want to look good going to church or on a date. At 6'2" I wear full sized adault clothing and this is perfect for shirts and pants, even as heavy as canvas/denim or as light as fine cotton dress shirts. THIS unit does not leave "steam vent" hole marks and I even use starch and sizing when pressing my clothes. One VERY pleasant surprise I got was that when I forgot to empty the water reserve, I folded it up, stood it on its back and it DID NOT LEAK any of the water out. I am tremendously happy with the form, function and quality of this product. Spend some time searching for the right price, my search took many months but the price matched the product. The Singer steam press is easy to use. It heats up very quickly and the large ironing surface makes pressing clothes much faster than with the traditional iron. The pressure applied with the handle allows several layers to be pressed at once and it gives clothes a sharp clean line that makes them look as if they've come from the cleaners.
