Look- I'm well aware of the debate and conversations being had, concerning Acoustic kits vs E kits, the authentic sound and playability. I live right by the Roland warehouse so trust me, I know how advanced the tech can be, they're even some that look and feel like a real kit. And don't get me started about triggers. I am not saying that this is the best kit ever. However, there are a few simple upgrades that can be made to make this kit an unbelievably practical and essentially helpful tool for any producer, songwriter, or any multi-instrumentalist to have. I had some of the best music experiences of my 20+ Years of music & industry experience, because of this drum kit. I was able to develop song ideas and understand them in a multi -dimensional approach, in ways that you can't even fathom just for having the option to approach music and song writing in a sense or pair of shades of non linear alchemy and logic. All esoteric jargon aside, What it comes down to is : if you're looking to get an e kit, in this price range, there are almost no other kits that can compete. If you've found this kit, and are set on it, you're not going to regret it. The only downsides are that if you buy it new, Alesis customer support and their replacement and warranty team are less supportive than insurance companies - and they're there for you almost never when you need it, so imagine Alesis support..... The customizable kits on my brain for my DM10 Could be sold as a sound pack for other users, That's how real, dialed in and polished I have mine. Seriously, the custom built kits saved on here are priceless. That's the hardest thing to part ways with- since it's hard to create value there. But nevertheless mine is for sale right now solely because I am moving and an forced to. MOVING FORWARD!! (Thanks Hellfire;)) This kit combined with just a few key upgrades costing Anywhere from 35$- 200$ (depending on how torqued out you want it) Like pearl mesh heads, new trigger sensors, new rack mount, increased foam pad layers.... [This is not an exhaustive list either, maybe for that price range, but theres really a lot of room to trick it out.] I have played all e kits available to the public today and this one is top 4. The other 3 are way way way out of this price range. That's my review. Buy It Try It Love It WordRead full review

Nice drum set . Itβs quite a transition from acoustic to electric. But Alesis has really stepped up to the plate ππ»

I resisted buying E drums for years because I was an βacoustic purist.β But after I moved to a condo, I had to be respectful of my neighbors. I couldnβt be more happy with my purchase of the Alesis 10-piece kit. And my neighbors never hear a thing!
