Good quality maple with durable nylon tips. Economic choice, but the maple will not last as long as a harder type of wood.

Out of 12 pairs two were warped, not so bad that they were unusable but very noticeable. They are listed as 5A sticks with a diameter of 560 but they feel much bigger like a 5B in the 590 range but because they are maple they still feel light and fast. If you dig into the edge of your hi hats these are not for you they will wear down pretty quick but if you rely mostly on the tip and a little on the shoulder they will last. All in all a very good values for the money.

These sticks are the best of times and the worst of times. They will break. They will break quickly and regularly. But, d@mm!t as soon as you break em, you can turn around and get the next pair. Because you bought 'em for a rate of $2.35 a pair. I practice around four hours a week, six on a good week. This order has lasted me for nearly three months. Soooo, there it is. They will break, but so what.

Nice combination of a dozen pairs of drum sticks, a kit holder and a key. Good value. Enough to keep a percussionist going.
