Water at my granddaughter's dorm was not the best quality so I bought this after much comparison investigation. The Pur rated high on the chart and I even watched videos of others consumers views. The only complaint my granddaughter has is it takes some time for the water to go through the filter to fill the pitcher. She likes the taste of the water and her roommate shares in it too.

I have to fill the reservoir twice to fill the picture and then I have to fill the picture twice to fill my coffee machine so that makes it much to slow the old pur filter is much more convenient! Are use this one for watering the dog and keep my old one for the coffee pot

It makes my well water so much better tasting or should I say not tasting. I use it to filter water for my dog too. Yes the lid doesn't snap on but it isn't designed to. No problem just putting one finger on the top to keep lid on. Comfort handle is really a nice feature, my sister's more expensive picture isn't as nice as this one.

I've had a Pur water pitcher for the past 2 years. I love it! I decided to get another one because the lid broke. However, this one's lid comes off when you tilt it or poor water out of it. Why have a water pitcher that you can't poor water out of without it spilling everywhere? I quickly returned it. I read other reviews from other people and they experienced the same things.
