5.0 out of 5 stars Readable introduction to Criminology

This is a clearly structured and well written book. I have little background knowledge of this topic, but I found this a readable and up to date introduction to the topic. There is reference to changes in the law up to 2012 with a clear focus on the UK. It covers a broad range of relevant topics and is an excellent starting point to the subject. Each chapter ends with some useful references to related articles to expand your understanding.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is great :-)

I've just began my first year at university doing Criminology and I bought this book to give me a rough idea of what the subject would be teaching me and it's really good, not only does it cover the basics but it provides cases and evidence to give you a broader idea. Also the way it's set out and put across it's easy to remember key information. Definitely recommend.

Great book for me to use for my upcoming Criminology and Law degree. Concise and well laid out information that makes it an easy read. It comes in a handy A5 size so you can pop it in your bag and take it everywhere with you. Highly recommended.

I’ve always had an interest in this subject and bought this to see if I can learn anything from it. I like the teach yourself books, because I like to casually read through things at my own pace.
