These wheels are amazing and hardly shed at all. Used the DW4905 (after modification) weekly for 2 years deburring tens of thousands of metal pieces and finally have to replace it. The descriptions aren't accurate enough for me so I bought both to compare. Product DW4904 is 3/4" thick and DW4905 is 1" thick as shown on the packaging. The 3/4" thick wheel will fit standard 6" bench grinders without the removal of the side arbor guard. The 1" rubs against the inside of my 6" Delta grinder (reducing power) unless I cut some wire off or remove the guard because the wires fan out at full speed. Using the DW4904 fits much better imo.
