If ur wanting the Q-redew for ur hair but dont want to spend $70, don't even think twice, just get this! It is the exact same thing! It's actually more compact & easier to use! And so much cheaper!!! I use this for my hair & it works amazing....for fabrics it's ok it does the job but i dont think it would work REALLY well on super heavy fabrics it's more of a lightweight, compact style. But it suits my needs PERFECTLY! It's super light, convenient, easy to use. It works wonders on hair & replaces the $70 Q-redew product FOR SURE!! I also use it for light garments as well & works perfectly fine! For everyday garments that need a quick refreshing and/or getting wrinkles out this is a great option. For people looking for a heavy duty steamer for thick drapes or the like, this isnt that type of product. I got it thru amazon warehouse deal for $15 & i couldnt b happier for the deal i got!

Liked the product because of the size, easy to handle. However, the water reservoir could be larger. Dries up quickly. Does get rid of small wrinkles, but not so much with larger ones. I was trying to get wrinkles out of a wool coat that had been shipped to me and was wrinkled from being folded. Did not do a very good job.

Let me start out by saying, I loath ironing and have been advised for years to check these things out. Yet, I actually purchased it for a wedding dress restoration project I started. It turns out to be better than I had expected it to be. I have yet to try it on the dress because it did not come with any instructions so I figured I had better try it on regular clothes first and know what I was doing. I guessed how all things worked so it was pretty much "fool-proof", very light, didn't leak or get to hot. This was the first time I'd ever seen or used anything like it and I am super stoked that I rarley have to iron again! I did try it out on some poly blend curtains and it did nothing to get the wrinkles out of that. I'm guessing it needs more heat or something for that type of material but I feel pretty confident that it will work on the delicate dress with no problems. It heats up really fast, and I can usually get four articles of clothes steamed before it needs a refill. I think anyone would be pleased with this little guy if you hate ironing as much as I do!

Since I purchased this, I have not used an iron. I work on the road, so my clothes come crumpled from suitcases on a daily basis, and this thing has been the best solution for taking my clothes from wadded to crisp and fabulous in less than 2 minutes. You just fill it with water, let it heat for a minute, pull the trigger, and wave it over your clothes...They're wrinkle free in a minute or less. It's so quick and it works well on nearly every kind of fabric.
They don't always work on really thick or synthetic fabrics, but for any soft fabric, they've done great for me! They're also really great fro traveling because they're not heavy like an iron and you don't need a flat surface. You can just use a hanger, a towel bar, or the back of a chair.

This steamer is a really GREAT product. It steamed wrinkles our of a silk blouse without really wetting it. This product has replaced the quick ironing (setting up the ironing board, plugging in the iron and waiting for it to heat up) I did with some of my clothes in the mornings before going to work. The steamer is ready to use in less than a minute. Although the water well on the steamer is somewhat small, it does not take much steam to rid a pair of cotton pants and blouse of wrinkles. Furthermore, it is also very portable, slipped into the side pocket of my carry-on luggage. I will not travel without it.

I thought this steamer would be nice to use and I wanted to test it out. At first I did have trouble putting the water in my fault I’m an idiot. But, I did and plugged it in. The light came on and turned off in about 5 seconds, but the water was cold and there was no real noise. Then when I pressed the button it started to smell like smoke and I stopped. I unplugged it, but it’s still malfunctioning and I don’t understand, I think I got sent a defective product and I’m disappointed. Someone said on the reviews they did as well, but I just received mine May 19th and this is my first time even trying it.

I've owned this for a while and basically, the steamer will get the wrinkles out of your clothes, but that depends on how patient you are in steaming your clothing. I have to go really slow in order to see the wrinkles go away, but it doesn't do a great job of it. Some small wrinkles still remain after and if not, the shirt looks a little chunky and wavy and not exactly smooth.

The things that I like about it is that it's really easy to fill the water compartment since you just pull off the small cork and go to the sink to refill the water. However, the water compartment doesn't last that long and you find yourself going back to the sink every 5 minutes.

So far I stopped using this because my own iron does a faster and better job at getting the wrinkles away.

Bought this to steam my hair it's perfect for steaming hair. Last summer I paid $70 plus tax , shipping etc for a hand held hair steamer that died in less than 6 months, sent it back for repair died again after 8 total months. Saw this Conair steamer on a YouTube video for hair steaming and for this price took a chance. Am I glad I did! It gives off 2x as much steam as the expensive hair steamer. Holds more water, so I can do my whole head with one fill up. Thinking about ordering another as a backup. Haven't tried it on clothes but honestly only bought it for my hair. Steam adds nice moisture to hair and bounces up curls in the morning so curly/wavy girls can avoid having to constantly add product, keeping those curls or waves soft and bouncy instead of stiff from product buildup. Best way to create true looking beach waves.
