Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought this stand because it seemed the most compact and easy to transport. However, not only was it not easy to assemble/collapse/set up, this stand also will not hold any but the smallest of amps. It wobbles - if your amp falls off of this it is quite possibly ruined. Please do not buy this amp stand.
Prodotto molto stabile , acquisto ottimo questo supporto e’ solido e funzionale può essere utilizzato per una cassa spia da palco anche di un certo peso
I really like this product. It's well built and extremely portable. It can be a little tippy if you don't centre your amp just so. The asymmetric design takes a little getting used to. Once you find the 'sweet spot' it feels more reliable. I'll add that my amp has never fallen; just a bit tippy until seated.
Firstly, it is easy to put together. It comes with the only tool you really need - an Allen key. It adjust quite easily. I wouldn't want this knob to be any easier as it gives a satisfying firmness to the rig when tightened up. The legs weren't exactly at 90 degrees to the uprights but the stand hardly wobbled at all. My amp is quite small (Laney Cub 10) and the legs suited the amp better when swapped around, i.e. the shorter legs on the floor and the longer legs supporting the amp. I then cut a couple of inches off these (now) amplifier support legs leaving them just 1/2 inch overlapping the width of the amp at each side. Perfect. The amp fits snugly and feels very safe. The footprint of the shorter legs (on the floor) is ample to provide a stable platform and the amp supports don't stick out too much, meaning I only take up as much room as I really need when I play at the local jam night, which has a small stage area. The height is just right for amp control adjustment whilst playing and the angle is adjustable to achieve an ideal angle so I can hear (and so can the audience) what I'm playing. My guitar work now cuts through the mix really well without having to turn the amp up full blast! I tried it a few nights ago and I was amazed at the improvement. I got comments from other muzos too. Although I've done some adjustment to the set up of the legs and I've taken a hacksaw to two of the legs (cuts through pretty easy without making the mild steel feel flimsy), and it is very slightly wobbly (really - very slightly) I still give this stand 5 stars because it is now exactly right for my amp and at just £13 it is fantastic value. I will buy at least another one for permanent use in my studio set-up, where it will support a bigger amp (Bugera V22). I'm sure this stand will be up to the job even though this amp is a lot heavier and a fair bit bigger than the Laney. I wouldn't try supporting anything as big as say... an AC30. You would need it's bigger brother for that.
