NO more ironing for this lady

I hate to iron, so much so that a few years ago I put the ironing board in the attic and the iron in the back of a closet. My problem is that in Spring and Summer I like to wear linen and linen blends.
I took photos of a linen blend T-shirt I just purchased that was wrinkled at the store. Photo doesn't show well and it was my first attempt at using a steamer. Took out most of the wrinkles.......I used the low steam setting. Next I steamed a LOT of wrinkles out of a pair of linen pants. I used the high setting. It took out ALL the wrinkles in no time at all. These were the new WIDE leg pants.
The steamer is good size, light weight, easy to hold and the cord was plenty long. I noticed some steamers (when I was researching) had much lower Watts and shorter cords for more money.

My only complaint: This steamer came with three attachments. NO WHERE in the instructions or on the box or in any insert did it tell you HOW to attach them. I played with it and clearly had one on upsidedown. It took some searching to find a Video on line showing someone using this model and quickly attaching one of the things. A-HA. Did they just leave those little instructions out of the box?

I am really happy with this purchase.

When I was searching for a steamer, I scrolled through a few reviews and if I had followed them I'd never buy this beauty! Those people clearly did not follow the instructions to use the steamer! You must put the steamer on the fabric in order for it to steam your clothes! Duh! How do you expect to hold it from a distance and want results? Anyway, buy the steamer. It'll make your iron jealous!

I've tried a number of the online steamers. The last one was one of the best top best sellers with great reviews. It put our little steam, was low powered, and super cheaply built. Most in this category would get a 1-2 star from me. This one really does generate a lot of steam, it is easy enough to hold, and overall a really good product.

I first saw this at a hotel, used it, and fell in love with it. I decided to buy one for my home and I'm very pleased with it. If you fill the reservoir up, you can steam 2 - 4 items. Takes about a minute or so to reach steam temperature. Not long. I frequently use it for my husband's jeans. Rather than take my mother's sequined gown, for her 80th birthday party, to the cleaners, I steamed the unsequined part and it was fine. The handle is weighted where it doesn't feel flimsy in your hand. Fits nicely. I haven't used a y if the attachments yet. I always fill it up with distilled water, not that you have to.

Decidí compararla, además de que tenía buenos reviews, porque vi que tenía la opción de poner un candado a la opción de vapor sin necesidad de tener que oprimir el botón todo el tiempo mientras planchas, eso facilita muchísimo la tarea y hace que no sea cansado. Si planchas una prenda difícil de planchar, es probable que el agua que colocas para el vapor sólo te alcance para esa prenda pero es muy fácil rellenar el contrenedor y para nada se derrama sobre la ropa mientras planchas.

I don't even understand why this product is available in the Swedish Amazon. This is a 110 v and Sweden has 230 v. A voltage converter for a product like this that uses1200 watts cost more than the product itself and to return the product to the seller, the freight costs almost half the price of the product. Really bad of the Swedish Amazon to make this product available for sale in Sweden.

A steamer that doesn’t …well…steam…

After waiting an astronomical time for this product to arrive (I know It’s coming from stateside to the UK but maybe give more accurate lead times - we’ve used the product literally twice and now it doesn’t work.

It just keeps making a clicking sound but no steam and what’s better just dribbled boiling water all over my foot from where the steam is meant to come out.
