Set deep in the heart of traditional Stilton cheesemaking country is the small English market town of Melton Mowbray where the Tuxford & Tebbutt Creamery stands externally unchanged in appearance since its construction in the eighteenth century. Tuxford and Tebbutt Blue Stilton is characterized by its typical blue veining with rich complex flavours and a piquant finish. To be called "The King of Cheeses" a Stilton must be made only in three counties from local milk which is pasteurized before use, be made only in the traditional cylindrical shape, be allowed to form its own crust or coat, be unpressed, have delicate blue veins radiating from the center and have a taste profile typical of Stilton. The cheeses are still matured individually and are turned and graded by hand as has been the case for many generations. Whilst the manufacture is traditional, a huge amount of monitoring and measuring is carried out to ensure that this cheeses meet the highest quality standards. Being from Berkswell my wife and I can say that we've had quite a few a different Stilton. This were a bit more moist that what were used to. Nonetheless, we will say that it tastes like home. We will be reordering very shortly. Thank you very much.

As a long-time fan of the best blue on the planet (aka Stilton), I can safely say that "it ain't cheap, but it's worth it"! And this one is true to form. As much as I love it though, a pound lasts quite a while at my house. A ton of flavor in a fairly small volume. Also makes a fantastic "black and blue" burger. Especially with a couple of strips of bacon on it. Just don't put on too much Stilton or it will melt and fall off the sides into your grill. Is far too good to waste!

Clearly they try to keep cold,but it is a failure. Only solution is faster delivery,otherwise major danger for spoiled cheese!
