I used to keep salted peanuts as a snack but then discovered this edamame. Lots of protein, lightly salted and seriously delicious. At least that’s my opinion. I’ll have half a cup of the edamame as “lunch” between breakfast and dinner. A delicious way to stave off hunger. Excellent quality, quantity especially for the price. It’s hard to find them in my ‘hood in that quantity.

Soy and I for some reason don't mix well and I react. (my breast get tender). Probably fine for most people but this food can cause estrogen action. (my breast get tender). So no more for me I tossed them.

I don't order on subscribe and save, but I always have these in my pantry. I'm always looking for a low-calorie, high protein snacks. I love nuts and seeds, but they often have added fad. Not these! They're roasted with a little salt and no oil--perfect. I like to stick a baggy of them in the car just in case I'm caught out of the house without a snack. They're perfect, and they stay fresh for a long time. I also sprinkle them in salads if I need a boost a protein boost.

I was really hoping that these would be a good snacking solution for cardio health and perhaps get me back on track to a more healthy lifestyle. They are crunchy, the salt is good, but.....

I don't eat a vegan, vegetarian, or organic type diet. I love a variety of foods and will try just about anything. That said, these are just a little nuttier and occasionally almost have a fishy-type flavor that I'm not a fan of. I will finish the whole container in the next month or so and see if it produces the health effects I'm hoping for - but I may order a few packs of the wasabi edamame or add a few Doritos, hot sauce, chocolate raisins, or something else to help camouflage the taste of the 1/3 to 1/2 cup I'll have at a time. Sooooo, that may not sound like the healthiest option, but I'm hoping that my activity level and other dietary changes will offset the little bit of "junk" food so that I can finish this container.

All in all, I'm sure there are lots of folks that think these are delicious, but I'm not one of them. For the price, I think they are a good value.
