Update: Yet again, I received a used product from Amazon. This is becoming a trend. I haven’t tried the iron yet, it’s just very disappointing knowing that someone else obviously used it and didn’t like it.I tried the iron and was pretty impressed. The top makes it very easy to get in between buttons. With my last iron I had to use a lot of spray starch to get the wrinkles out. With this one I didn’t need to do that because of high amount of steam that comes out. The only down fall with that is that I have to keep on refilling the water in it. The length of the cord is perfect in my opinion. Overall, I’m happy with it and I’m going to keep my used iron 😊

I'm giving this five stars based on its low price and the way it compares to irons costing much more. I find the ergonomics to quite nice. It's solid, which is nice, but not too heavy. I'm not sure why an adult would think it's cumbersome in the least. It does an excellent job of ironing - lots of steam, wrinkles disappear quickly. Like seemingly every other iron made these days, it has leaked on a couple of occasions. I think it might be a function of water level, or letting it cool down inadvertently. It's not nearly as bad as a couple of others I tried (and returned). I think irons, like toasters, are probably all made in the same terrible Chinese manufacturing facility - one with very poor quality control. That might explain why 1/4 of the reviews on here are one star. There are probably a fair amount of lemons. I'm just glad I didn't get one of them. Like others have said, the water level is a bit tricky to read, unless you're actually filling it, and the level is changing. Might want to keep a small flashlight handy in order to see it, unless you happen to do your ironing under surgical lamps. Overall, for $25 (or considerably more) I don't think you'll do better than this.

This is the 3 steam iron i purchased in the last 15 days. Other two was from a different renowned brand, but it kept of leaking water right from its first use. But this was from Shark is extremely good. Perfect weight for easy maneuverability, does not leak at all, looks good and great steam throughput making it a great iron to have. I am very happy with the product.

Actually, I bought this approximately 9 months ago for my husband. I would say that it works nicely; however, he has yet to even take it out of the box to iron his clothes. I mean, come on, do you expect me to do that for you? I don’t think so. Needless to say, it looks very nice sitting on our shelf in the box looking all brand new and unused. 10/10 only would buy if someone would use it.

So far I love this iron. It's sturdy, not too light or too heavy, the big dial as the temperature control perfect for knowing the right temp for your clothes. Nice size cord, could be a little longer, but it's doable. Also it didn't come with a cup or something to fill the water reservoir, which is sort of awkward to fill, but all that being said I still give it marks. Finally I like it has a green light when the iron is ready, and that it turns off after its inactive for a while. I previously had a different shark iron that was sort of digital, and as it got older the green light would flick on and off at the slightest movement it drove me crazy, so this iron suits me well, having less gadgets, (low tech)!! As far durability that I won't be able to answer until I've owned it for awhile, so we shall see.

I love everything about this iron! This is the third iron that I've sampled. This one is light, has a stainless steel soleplate that's a little smaller than the other irons I tried. The water-fill line is highly visible. It turns off automatically after 15 minutes. The only negative thing about it, and this is a personal preference, is that the spray and steam buttons are backwards...the shot of steam is on the right and the spray is on the left. I'd prefer it the other way around.

You couldn't ask for a better iron. I have only used it once, but compared to my old iron this is really a professional iron. First of all, it gets very hot, very quickly. It steams beautifully. I used to have to use starch on my shirts to maintain a sharp collar and epilets. With this iron, I just iron the shirt and it looks great, no starch needed. I am very impressed. It cuts my ironing time in half, and my shirts look better than ever. If you are on the fence, buy this iron, you won't be disappointed. For the five dollars more than the lower priced Sharp, you get a bigger base plate, a more powerful (hotter) iron and more controlled steam. Its worth the five bucks!

I'd had a Shark iron for a few years and loved it. When it failed me, I wanted another one. When I found this model, I was disappointed, because it looked too different from my current model. However, I was not disappointed in what I received. This one has a much wider range of heat controls (gets much hotter on high) and the water chamber holds much more water. The heel rest is broader and more stable, too. The one thing I miss is the automatic turnoff after the iron stands idle for a time. The cord is long, so accommodates various ironing board positions near an outlet, an important feature for me.

I have a shark vacuum and decided to try out their iron. I am so happy that I chose to. This iron is very lightweight, hold more water than my older iron which is great to get more ironing done. The steaming feature on the iron is very impressive. IT doesn't take very long for the iron to heat up either. The dial for fabric type is very easy to read. I have became a Shark fan. If you are looking for a good household iron, and affordable price I would recommend this product.
