This 300 piece jigsaw puzzle, "Songbird Menagerie," is based on the artwork of famed artists James, Robert and Joseph Hautman. The Hautman Brothers are acclaimed wildlife artists whose work is part of a permanent collection in the Smithsonian Institute. The pieces of this puzzle are 67% larger than traditional puzzle pieces, which makes them easier to see and hold for a pleasant puzzle experience. Every Buffalo Games jigsaw puzzle is manufactured in the U.S.A. from recycled puzzle board. s signature Perfect Snap. The cut is clean and crisp with no snags at all. In fact, I think this puzzle was a noticeably higher quality than the other buffalo games puzzles (and they are all good quality) I have put together. I don't understand that, unless there are grades of quality in their production and this was a premium puzzle? This is the first large piece format puzzle from Buffalo I have worked on, so maybe that is the answer. The puzzle picture is lovely, clear and vibrant and every puzzle piece included in my box. I picked up a second box at this price to give away.
