CLICK N' PLAY puzzle mats are known for their quality, safety and durability worldwide and are therefore used in many schools and pre-schools because they last! CLICK N' PLAY puzzle mat Letters and Numbers is CLICK N' PLAY's premiere tile mat and includes both uppercase letters plus numbers. These thick mats are easy to hand wash with soap and water and are submersible if you want wash them in the sink. When assembled into a square, the CLICK N' PLAY puzzle mat Letters and Numbers are a huge 72" X 72 " mat, though you can assemble the 36 12" Square tiles in any configuration you wish to suit your needs. Each tile, letter and number are textured on top and have a skid resistant bottom. CLICK N' PLAY puzzle mat can be mixed and matched to grow with your needs or for more assortment.

    I received this play mat today. I read other reviews previous to this about the mat either missing letters or being dirty. Luckily mine did not miss any letters, however, there were a few tiles that were dirty. I'm not sure how, because I am pretty 100% I purchased this as new. It was sealed with a plastic zip tie but that doesn't mean anything. Someone could have returned it. Second, one of the tiles edges is flat, bent, with no texture. It's really not a big deal just doesn't sit into the next tile the best. The mat is 0.5" thick. Truthfully, I should have got the mat by ProSource that offers a border to keep the pieces together for the same cost. The squares dont stay together well without the border corners. If you have a young infant or toddler, they will pull up the sides and pretty much bend them as well or chew on them. I would rather purchase another one with the border corners and possibly just plain colors, which that is personal preference. I also thought it would have more grip but it's actually quite slippery. It would probably be good for an older toddler, but I decided to return and get a portable non slip 0.8" thick play mat for my infant.

    My 3-year-old saw this toy on a YouTube video and thought it would be really fun. I thought it would be really educational. We were both right.

    My daughter was ecstatic about this gift, and is still routinely playing with it months later. Her favorite game is "hiding" the letters by scattering them around the room, then "finding" these objects (which are in plain view), proudly telling us what letter it is, and then putting them back together. She has done this endlessly, and it's been fantastic for learning her alphabet and numbers. It also functions as an excellent play mat when not in use.

    I have some small notes improvement. I realize that die cutting creates some constraints, but a few of the letters are shaped a bit unusually, making them harder to recognize. My kiddo was initially insistent that the 4 was a triangle, and she's got a point, that fat #4 looks a lot like a triangle! Also, it's not a surprise, but it had a bit of an unpleasant odor when we first opened the bag. This was still an exceptional value, and it would seem unfair to remove a star for such minor flaws.

    I know it might seem pricey for this item but let me tell you. The quality is amazing! It come in a plastic bag to store it. Perfect if you need to travel or move, the place won’t get messy. It’s 36 pièces so my little boy got plenty of space to play with it. It is recommended for 3+, plus son is 7 months and starts crawling so I would advise any mama out there to get it for her child.     UPDATE: I ordered a replacement for these since the first set came covered in dirt and stains. I got the replacement set today and they came the exact same way, every single tile had some sort of unknown staining and dirt on them and they are just gross.
