I love this tea!!I really like the taste - very natural and earthy. I don't have a sweet tooth at all and it's sweet enough for me to drink without sugar or any sweetener. My mom who has a really big sweet tooth likes it with milk and honey.I read somewhere that Ginseng Roots is supposed to make you more zen and relaxed... I have very mixed feelings about that.I'm a very rational person and I just don't do any zen/yoga/meditation/energy transfer or whatever. Unless it's Prozac, I doubt any tea or supplement or whatnot will make me feel more relaxed. On the contrary, to de-stress I go to the gym and workout for a couple of hours.Now, funny enough, I have been feeling a lot more relaxed lately even though my job has been as stressful as ever.Maybe the tea is working? Maybe I'm learning not to get angry at my annoying clients so much? Or maybe it's just the placebo effect, I guess we'll never know.Anyway, if anything, I would recommend this tea for the taste. If you think it will make your life more zen, even better.I was lucky enough to receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I have to mention this disclaimer however, I am not affiliated with the company and I am in no way obliged to provide a positive review. The opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

I really like this tea. I can’t drink caffeine anymore, and this tea has become a welcome addition to my morning routine. I find it doesn’t give me a huge energy burst as much as a slow calm sustained boost over the day.

The flavor I think Is great, though it’s much stronger than most of the korean (panax ginseng) tea you get around me. If you like a light taste you way want to steep it for less time.

Ordered a 50 bag from their website directly, they also have whole roots and wild for sale! Anyway, I’m a fan now!

I see a lot of reviews from people who say this tastes like dirt. It's a root, it tastes "earthy" but that is what it's supposed to taste like. We feel better when we drink this tea, I feel it makes us more focused. Also, it may be a little pricey, but you can easily get at least 2 uses out of a tea bag and we make 16 oz mugs. If you really want something that tastes like Ginseng, this is the one to buy!

A great quality product. Nice ginseng flavor. Will buy again because I like the way the cup of tea can gain intensity in flavor the longer the tea steeps in contrast to the set amount of flavor from the dehydrated Korean packets. Only minor problem is that the bag is somewhat delicate and can break when being squeezed. I presume a few bits of ginseng to chew on with the last sip can be a bonus. It is hard to judge the health value yet unless you take into account that both my wife and I received the gift of holiday crud for Thanksgiving, and since I had started drinking the tea, my symptoms have been much milder than hers. I wish the box would give some guidance as to how much tea per day is beneficial and if there is a maximum amount that should be ingested. This would be useful since there is information about concerns of excess ginseng intake on the internet and a suggested pattern of taking it for a few weeks then taking a break for a week or so to allow the body to readjust for maximum benefit.

Tea itself is wonderful. However, the sachets are delicate. I have torn a few while opening the outer packet. Ginseng everywhere! And almost every sachet that has made it successfully into my mug has detached from the string when pulling the sachet back out. For the price, I’d expect better quality.

This is legit ginseng tea! The shipping took longer then expected for some reason, and the package was smashed during shi6but the tea bags are sealed in individual foil like packets. The product was fresh and potent. It's a bit pricey but good ginseng usually is anymore. You'll need to drink it with honey at the very least cuz ginseng has a strong earthy taste. I usually brew one ginseng tea bag with one chai green tea bag and add a little honey. Lemon cuts the flavor too Ecspecially in ice tea drinks. Good product, a bit pricey, and damaged some in shipping. Still happy though and will purchase again.
