I've been on a quest to find a very buttery and flavorful microwave corn. I'm big into regular popping (pan/oil) but losing my desire to endure the time in making it and then cleaning up after (even popping machines need attention). I've never been a fan of microwave corn because of how it tastes 30 minutes after you make it. BUT, if you plan on eating it right away, it's hard to beat the convenience. But, they still tend to lack a great buttery flavor. I've been trying various brands and have landed on Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn, Movie Theater Butter. It beats Act-II Xtreme Butter, and Orville Redenbacher's Ultimate Butter hands down! With Act-II and Orville, I had to add extra butter topping, but I don't need to with Pop Secret.
