It’s constructed from cast alloy, so it is sure to last for a good long while. Typically, when a hex hub fails, it wears along the straight line. With its ergonomic design, our repair hub reduces the stresses that occur during drilling. This, in turn, allows for an overall stronger drive. This repair hub is a 2-inch female hex. It can be welded to any standard auger bit and is compatible with any 2-inch hex drive shaft that has 3/4" or 5/8" pin holes. This repair hub measures 8” in length and has a diameter of 3 1/2”. It weighs about 11 lbs., making it a lightweight piece of equipment. This heavy-duty forged repair hub will make the perfect addition to your toolbox.
