Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Customers like the connectivity, accuracy, and consistency of the electronic switch. For example, they mention it's reliable, makes their printer very accurate, and stays consistent for every print. That said, some complain about the adjustability, saying it requires slight adjusting every time it'd be used and that there is no fine adjustment in the back. Opinions are mixed on sensor.

Customers like the performance of the electronic switch. They mention that it works well, is perfect for their application, and works great for 3D printer autoleveling. Some say that the sensor works phenomenal.
"...I think this sensor is priced well and performs exactly as advertised" Read more
"...works great." Read more
"It works OK, I am only feeding with 5v so that may be a bit of an issue, but I a using it with a 3d printer...." Read more
"...It works great right out of the packaging, just needed to flash marlin to the board and change a couple small config options...." Read more
Customers like the accuracy of the electronic switch. They say it works with good precision and makes their 3D printer very accurate.
"It's been great and made my printer very accurate...." Read more
"...For the price, accuracy and reliability. These just can’t be beat. Three wires and minimal downtime. She’s printing like new all over again." Read more
"...In testing, it was accurate an average of .03 MM. More precise then I expected, and unlike my last probe, has not slammed the bed yet." Read more
"I bought two of these units and both were wildly inaccurate, and not even consistently inaccurate between the two...." Read more
Customers are satisfied with the connectivity of the electronic switch. They mention that it's reliable and accurate.
"...For the price, accuracy and reliability. These just can’t be beat. Three wires and minimal downtime. She’s printing like new all over again." Read more
"...Senses the aluminum bed somewhere in the 4-5mm distance. It's quite reliable and accurate..." Read more
"Reliable, but can add some complications...." Read more
"Good product..." Read more
Customers are satisfied with the consistency of the electronic switch. They mention that it stays consistent for every print, and is repeatable.
"...print during initial layer, with this sensor added it stays consistent for every print!" Read more
"...Seems very repeatable. I did add a voltage divider so I could run it off the 24V power supply and supply the < 5v signal." Read more
"Consistent home for printer...." Read more
Customers find the installation of the electronic switch to be easy. They mention that it's straight forward and a direct replacement for the probe that initially comes on the CRT-10s Pro.
"Was a really easy direct replacement for the probe that initially comes on the cr10s pro. Just cut the wires and solder the same color together...." Read more
"...to connect and solder wires as it is not plug-n-play, but its fairly straight forward. It worked perfect and seems to perform much better than stock...." Read more
"Bought this for my CR-10s Pro. Very easy to install but mine had to be closer to the build plate than the guide I was using said...." Read more
Customers have mixed opinions about the sensor. Some say it's a great sensor for projects and a good sensor for 3D printers, while others say that the sensing range may be shortened at 5V. The sensing distance is a little inconsistent, but can still be used to improve bed leveling.
"Great inductive sensor. I was skeptical when purchasing about whether it would work at 5V or not since some people say it will and some say it wont...." Read more

"Cool sensor. I ordered different sizes for a project. This one operated well, but, was a bit too. Ig for my application...." Read more
"Great sensor. Works perfectly." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the adjustability of the electronic switch. They mention that it requires slight adjusting every time it's used, does not hold an exact zero, and that there is no fine adjustment in the back.
"...There is no screw to adjust sensitivity, but obviously raising and lowering the sensor will achieve the same thing...." Read more
"...Works well, but has slight variance. Requires slight adjusting every time it's used, does not hold an exact zero...." Read more
"...There is no fine adjustment in the back either. So there is no way to bring it closer to the object detected. I'm buying a BL touch for my printer." Read more

on my plasma table. They are potted so the lower part is water tight but the top will let water in. Bad news for a water table. The caps are just held in with superglue, you can use a knife edge between the metal case and the lid to pry it off.
I used clear RTV around the insde of the cap to seal the cable and lid, to make it water tight. works great.

Also, it can vary from the distance of the stock sensor, so the measuring block they give you won't work. I had to use a stack of papers, and slowly remove sheets until I got it perfect.

Of note, I ended up breaking the first probe I got by trying to test it before installation. The black wire is the signal wire and not the negative. If you hook it up to a 9v battery wrong it will fry and no longer work. I wanted to test it before installation since I had replaced my bed with a magnetic flexible bed but that was a bad idea. I ordered a replacement probe and installed it and working great.
