Beautiful rug, great kit!

I haven't hooked a rug in years -- this came already backed and finished (not hooked, of course) with a marked canvas. However, the canvas was not always so easy to follow. There is a printed grid and it didn't always follow the canvas: I ran out of a color, but I'm not sure it was the pattern's fault or mine, but the BYT folks cheerfully sent me more at no expense. The rug came out great and I will definitely order from them again. It is really cool to finish the rug and have it finished already!

Poor Quality Control

I chose this product for the design, and still like it very much. However, I was greatly disappointed and frustrated by the lack of quality control of the yarn. There was wide variation in the lengths of the pieces. The gray pieces of yarn were the most consistent but all other colors had pieces significantly longer or shorter. After the rug was completed, I had to spend time with a scissors trying to level out the surface.
