Fancy Looking Results From Fun Project
My 13 yo loves owls. She also loves detailed crafts. The cover of this box caught her eye immediately, and she was working on this in a flash. This box contains three designs that are pre-"poked" in foam canvases -ie there are pin holes already added, but you can design your own project if you want to, as the existing holes won't show easily with the string above. There are also clear directions that my daughter did not have trouble following. I was a little bit wary of the pins, because although my daughter is generally careful (I didn't fear she'd hurt herself), she does tend to leave things laying around. So just be aware this project is comprised of poking a lot of loose needle-like pins (with balls on one end) into foam, around which you wrap string. I just made sure she kept the pins in one area. The set also comes with three backing sheets with adhesive that stick onto the backs of the completed canvases, providing some protection against pins pushing out through to the other side, This is a fun project overall, and my daughter gave it 5 stars.
