To preface, I bought this iron used from Amazon Warehouse. "Condition: Used - Acceptable - The iron may come in it's original packaging , but part of the packaging will be missing or damaged. The iron may have scratches as well."The box was dinged, but the iron looked fine, as if it had been used once or twice and returned.I read the instructions and performed multiple tests. It leaked vigorously. Thinking perhaps the previous owner had filled it with unusually hard water, I cleaned the iron using "self-clean" mode. I tested again.Again water ran in a thin but persistent stream out of the iron plate. My clothes, ironing board, and floor were puddled upon by this iron. It is perhaps like a puppy in that regard; but lacking mercy for the poor miserable thing, I am returning it.The blouse pictured is made of a very lightweight cotton. It is shown after my final attempt to use the Vertical steam function. This was the feature I'd most looked forward to using, and it disappointed. To use it, you are instructed to "Hold iron vertically near, but not touching the fabric you want to steam. Pull the fabric tight." Having but two hands, I found this difficult. Also, "near but not touching" is not specific, so I held it about an inch or two away-- Any further and the puff of steam (which I would be hard pressed to describe as a "shot of steam") drifted away ineffectually. Somehow, water managed to puddle on the shirt. I thought, 'OK, it's cotton so it won't leave a water stain or anything-- this should help the wrinkle-removal along'. Alas. After twenty or so "shots of steam", I ran out of patience.

I can't even believe how great this iron is for the price. I really didn't expect it to work so well or have so many features because of the low price. But it's the most phenomenal iron I've ever owned. Being wireless makes ironing a joy. No more cords in the way. Easy to give fabric a shot of hot spray, or simply steam it as you iron. I'm extremely pleased with this iron and I'm sure it'll be with me for years to come. Five stars!

I love the idea of cordless for sewing room, but was hoping for a hotter iron with more steam. It takes forever to heat up. It does have a long cord.
After using it for a couple months I have grown to love it more. I use it for my small sewing craft room. At first it took awhile to warm and it’s not a rowenta iron, so don’t expect that. It steams very well and I love that I can bring it to my project without hassle of a cord. Opening seams while sewing is much faster now.

I just st received it and ironed several shirts! It took a few minutes to figure out the bells and whistles but once I did, the results were flawless! The only issue I have is that it is very heavy, even without the attachment that makes it cordless. If I were to use it as a cord d iron I'd really struggle with the weightiness. (I'm a 72 yo woman, so take that into consideration!)

Great iron. I'm a novice (historical/vintage) seamstress and got it so I didn't have to keep stealing irons from others in the house. For me it's great, even though it seems like it's advertised that it stays hot when not attached to the base (it doesn't, it's more like a heating station, which doesn't bother me), I still find it useful and doing quick areas, or small projects. I primarily work with cotton and find the materials I work with it gets wrinkles out, flattens seams, etc well enough and find the steam settings to work well too. Gets hot fast too.

This is a cool design. I was a little skeptical about a cordless iron thinking that I would be waiting around for it to constantly warm up. Not the case. I found that all the time I was moving my pants or shorts into that “right spot” on the board was the perfect amount of time to keep the iron hot. No cord means a lot less hassle too. Cord isn’t hanging up all over everything too. The mist and steam feature work like every other “no-drip” iron... it drips when not exactly flat. Great iron though.

For everyday use, this is great. When I iron shirts, etc. it's very handy not having a cord to get in the way or to get caught on my clothing. Makes ironing easier and faster.
