My son Just turned eight and I bought these for his birthday. I really appreciate the simplicity of some of them. I think it's important for children to see that you can pretty much make music with anything, it can gets one t I think outside of the box into more abstract thinking,creativity & excitement! It's good for them to see that with music it's not about the instrument being the shiniest, newest, fancier, grandest etc., But It's what it does that matters. The I am thrilled with this purchase.
