I ordered this backpack about a month ago, and I've waited a few weeks to give a review because I really wanted to see how this bag held up. I've been looking for years for a durable, multi-functional bag that would be big enough to fit a tablet but small enough that it didn't look like I was carrying around a schoolbag. So when I saw this full grain leather backpack at such a low price, I was eager to try it but a little skeptical. Let me tell you, I have not been disappointed!
When the bag first arrived, the colors looked a little lighter than the online pictures, but I knew this was from a lack of patina that would develop over time naturally with use. It had a very strong leather smell that also dissipates over time. The stitching is strong, the outside pockets are a decent size, and it can indeed fit a tablet along with your other purse necessities comfortably.
After using this bag for a few weeks, I've had numerous occasions where it has come in handy. It was a water-carrying life saver at the local festivals I attended and a must-have on the business trip I took. It's now starting to develop a little bit of patina on the shoulder straps, and the color is darkening to a richer brown. I am in love with the easy snap pockets, and I like that you can still use the buckles if you want. I have received numerous compliments on this backpack, and I always get a bit of surprise when I say I purchased it on Amazon. Definitely happy with this purchase!
