The incubator I use came with a light but quite frankly it was not cutting it when it comes to quail egg candling. I ordered this hoping for a somewhat economic option that would clue me in on my egg development. These are on day 8 of incubation, the first picture is one of my normal eggs with an embryo inside. The second is an egg with a super thick, dull, and calcified shell that I was unable to see anything in previously, but was able to spot a successful embryo with this light! Full stars from me, this is exactly what I was looking for!
