Works great for smaller instruments

Purchased this for a travel guitar that I have, and for that guitar, it works fine. Both the front grips and the tripod part adjust, which helps to balance out the stand (I moved the tripod in, because it didn't have much leg behind it and would get back tippy). The travel guitar is about the limit of what I would trust for this stand. I tried 2 of my regular sized acoustic guitars in it, and it held them up, but I think it's a bit light/small for anything full sized, and I would not put an electric on it.

With that being said - it's described as a stand for small instruments, so in that regard, it works great for smaller stuff. Any ukulele, mandolin, even a parlor (smaller) guitar will be secure in this stand. It folds up fairly compact, seems sturdy for what it's intended for, and is a really nice stand. There is plenty of grippy/non-marking rubber on it, so when you put your instrument in, it's not going to move around, and not get marked up.

Love it for my travel guitar. This will work great for any smaller string instrument. Just be careful with full-size.

This stand fits different thickness ukuleles. The bottom holder on the arm can be adjusted to secure instruments of different sizes. It fold down well for transport. I bought this to rest my ukuleles on when I am outside and take a break. It is made of plastic so it it not unbreakable, however, I would not worry at all about set my best ukuleles on it. They make an aluminum version. I may try that but this is strong enough for my needs.

On a whim I thought I would TRY a Ukulele stand for my "Enya Nova Go", the pocket in my guitar case is too small for a traditional guitar stand. I have this same styled stand for my Fender acoustic guitar but it is too big for the Nova. Ideally you would want a larger stand for stability on the road but in my case the smaller stand is ideal as the stand will only be used on table-tops. I shook the stand a little to see how it will hold up and it appears that this will do the trick. These types of stands are well constructed and will hold your instrument upright. Right now I am using it as a dock to charge the electronics inside the Enya. The only caveat I can think of is: I would advise against obtaining this for a travel guitar if you have pets who like to knock things over. I have not been able to find a MINI (under 11 inches) folding guitar stand on Amazon so this experiment got me what I needed. This is also perfect for my 1/2 student sized guitar too.
