I own 2 other models of Rowenta steamers and love them. This lead me to purchasing this steamer.I like the different accessory attachments included with the steamer. I like the design and quick power up feature that allows you to use the steamer seconds promptly after powering up the unit. I like the long cord and the auto off feature that kicks in and shuts down the steamer after being left idle for an extended period of time.Dislikes are, I wish the water reservoir was a little bit larger and held more water which would extend the steamer usage time. I don't like after about 4 or 5 mins of use the unit spits water out onto the article of clothing that your steaming. This can really wet and dampen your garments to the point where after steaming you will need to let the article of clothing dry before wearing it. The spitting out of water from the steamer is not so apparent in my video because the shirt is black but this is a constant occurrence I've experienced since I've been using this steamer. Lastly, I don't like the power of the steamer going up and down which causes the steamer to go steamless for about 13 to 20 seconds while in use. This extends steam time of the article of clothing that you're steaming. My other Rowenta steamers don't do this. This is why I can only give this steamer unit 3 stars out of 5.11.27.2023 Product update: A little over a month (10.16.2023 purchase date) after purchasing this steamer the product no longer is producing steam. Unit powers on but will not generate any steam. Rating decreased to 1 star. I now have to use my extended warranty that I purchased for this product due to the purchase being over 30 days and outside of the Amazon return window. This is a terrible purchasing experience and I will not be purchasing any more products from this company.

 I own 2 other models of Rowenta steamers and love them. This lead me to purchasing this steamer.

I like the different accessory attachments included with the steamer. I like the design and quick power up feature that allows you to use the steamer seconds promptly after powering up the unit. I like the long cord and the auto off feature that kicks in and shuts down the steamer after being left idle for an extended period of time.

Dislikes are, I wish the water reservoir was a little bit larger and held more water which would extend the steamer usage time. I don't like after about 4 or 5 mins of use the unit spits water out onto the article of clothing that your steaming. This can really wet and dampen your garments to the point where after steaming you will need to let the article of clothing dry before wearing it. The spitting out of water from the steamer is not so apparent in my video because the shirt is black but this is a constant occurrence I've experienced since I've been using this steamer. Lastly, I don't like the power of the steamer going up and down which causes the steamer to go steamless for about 13 to 20 seconds while in use. This extends steam time of the article of clothing that you're steaming. My other Rowenta steamers don't do this. This is why I can only give this steamer unit 3 stars out of 5.

11.27.2023 Product update: A little over a month (10.16.2023 purchase date) after purchasing this steamer the product no longer is producing steam. Unit powers on but will not generate any steam. Rating decreased to 1 star. I now have to use my extended warranty that I purchased for this product due to the purchase being over 30 days and outside of the Amazon return window. This is a terrible purchasing experience and I will not be purchasing any more products from this company.

The steamer that does it all! I love the steamer signal because it doesn’t take but a few seconds before it’s ready to steam. My garments looked like they were professionally ironed from the cleaners. Love the attachments especially the one attachment that puts the crease back into drapes and clothing. There’s a few steam settings both settings giving the user total control. The constant steam is what I use the most, or you can switch to pressing steam when you want it. This was an excellent purchase.

LOVE the long electrical cord! Nice size. My wife is tiny. It was a little heavy for her but worked very well. She didn’t use it very often…a few items of clothing, some curtains she made, etc. That’s about it. Never dropped it. Pulled it out to use it recently, filled it with water, installed the tank, pressed the power button, power and delicate light up blue, power flashed for about forty seconds then stopped flashing, pulled the trigger and…nothing. The head is very hot. Apparently the water may not be flowing. We cleaned it after five uses. It still worked after that.

It’s dead, Jim. Very disappointed. I’m the type of person who does not care what something costs. I don’t always get the best but I purchase good quality. We had a commercial standing unit purchased on Amazon. Worked fantastic. We could steam out dents on the car. ;-). (Just kidding.) Then we downsized our home. We gave it away and purchased this. Obviously I made a mistake. Bummer. I am guilty as everyone. I post reviews after I’ve used something for maybe a week. But I realize that’s a mistake so often I wait a year or two. Still would not have helped in this situation but you get my point.

First off, I bought this steamer to replace a series of cheaper ones that I’d been using and replacing nearly yearly. First impression out of the box was that this was much nicer, more robust and heavy duty.

I did notice water condensation in the tank when I first opened the box. My husband pointed out that they probably test it at the factory. Lo and behold, it said this in tiny print on the box. So, it wasn’t used but just quality-controlled!

Using the steamer was really nice compared to my previous ones. I like the on/off button and auto shut-off for when I step away. I’m quite keen on the bubbling sound it makes when I steam, as I know it’s drawing on the water reservoir and it sounds like a friendly kettle. The unit is a bit heavier on account of its better construction, but that doesn’t phase me for normal daily use. For travel, it would be a bit bulky/heavy and I’d consider purchasing a smaller/folding travel version instead.

I would recommend this steamer as well as Roweta products. I also have an iron which I adore!

Really disappointed as I was looking forward to having a steamer. You need UK adapter for it, which I got but the steamer never turned on. No blue light to be seen :(

I’ve tried to explain it to their customer services, but they don’t seem to understand that it is actually a criminal offence to sell electrical equipment in the UK without a UK plug. Hopefully this review will prompt someone to have a look at the Law!

This is my favourite steamer. Works very well but after 2 years it stopped working completely. I made sure I followed all the handles and care well, now it’s time to get a new one.

The product is sold by amazon.co.uk but comes with US plug. Also it states on the cable that it accepts 120V and does not mention anything about 220V. So using a simple plug converter will not work most likely as UK voltage is 220.
