I got these walkie talkies for my four year old daughter. I wanted something economic, that would work, and, of course, in pink, per her demand. This was a perfect Christmas present. I was also surprised that they worked further than I thought - we've tested them out two blocks away so far. For some reason, I didn't think they'd be that strong! You can change frequencies, and this even has a flashlight built into it and you can make them ring back and forth. Great value and perfect gift for a child.

Great little walkie talkies, I would not say for a "Teen" I bought for my 3 year old and her 5 year old cousin to play with together and they love them. They switch channels easily and of course a toddler hits the wrong button a lot, which makes it a lot of work on me to get them back in sync. The device is solid and well made. They have a light at the top which for some reason the kiddos love ;). They are a fun toy for the price.

These were perfect for my 6year old daughter! She used to have a toy pair of Hatchimals walkie talkies and enjoyed the idea of them but they necer worked well and were full of static, to no surprise. So for christmas I thought these would be perfect based on the descriptuon of all it could do, and my daughter couldn't have been happier to use them for the first time! They have NO static and the ability to send a caller tone to the other walkie when you need to alert them of an incoming message. It's so clear and the distance is amazing; she can take them to her friends a few doors up and it still sounds as clear as of she was in our house. For the price of $20, it was a steal. We had looked at ones from an outdoor sports store and they were so overpriced. It was either the option of professional or just a static filled toy. These were the perfect middle point, and made a terriffic christmas gift. My daughter's favorite part: not saying "over" because when you let go of the button it plays a tone so the other person knows you're done talking, as well as the flashlight. Yes they take a hefty amount of batteries but for what all it does for children it's definetly worth it. Her and her father are loving these walkie talkies!

These are really cute and great for children with the exception of two things. One being the settings. They are relatively complicated for small children. Two is that my granddaughter used her allowance to buy these thinking and could talk to her cousin a mile down the road as the product details indicate. This is not so. They are only good for using in the hard or the house. They don’t even reach with one outside and one inside.

We purchased these walkie talkies as a gift for our 3 & 4 year old daughters. While they still need a little practice learning how to hold down & let go the "talk" button appropriately, and some of the features need some adult assistance (scanning channels) the girls love them and have very much enjoyed using them. Other than their small size, (which is great for the girls) they do not seem at all like "just a toy," and work just as expected for real walkie talkies.
