So, I guess what I'm saying is that any of these products I would give five stars... Having switched from D'addario about 10 years ago, I've really never looked back. If I'm stringing a metal stringed acoustic guitar, I'm stringing it with Martin strings..
Decided to try the light gauge MA540 Phosphor Bronze since I play regularly at church and practice around the house quite a bit.
Strings went on really well and, after tuning and stretching, they had a nice full sound to them. At first, I didn't think they were as bright as I wanted them to be but, after playing for a while, I was really impressed with how they held up and sounded.
The day after I put them on, they stayed in tune fairly well ... I had to make some small adjustments but nothing major.
Also, when I put my capo on, I didn't have to adjust the tuning too much either.
The other brand of strings I use have a rewards program which is a nice incentive. If Martin instituted something similar, I would use these strings exclusively.
As far as the sound, tone, and price, I have no complaints.
