Can start a fire.
This kit is fun for my 10 year old. He enjoys assembling all of the components. I have had to help a little but as the instructions are not always clear, however, one of the wind powered cars started smelling like it was burning. Turns out it was not connected all the way and it caused a short, in turn melting it beyond repair. I worry that if we weren't there when it happened it may have actually caught fire. If it is hot enough to melt the thick plastic like this, I would imagine it may actually catch fire.
