As someone with no previous embroidery experience this craft was simple and relaxing to complete. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I hand washed the finished piece in a bowl of warm water and a few drops of laundry detergent, the pattern disappeared easily. I will purchase more of these in the future.

From an actual beginner, its a great starter kit

I haven't touched embroidery before this. I've only watched someone do another starter kit a little. The kit comes with a small booklet which, to me, shows well enough how the different stitches are done including: leaf stitch, straight stitch, back stitch, and french knots. The design is nice, but also simple enough that the experience was not stressful. Of course the most stressful thing about embroidery at this point for me is taking the threads apart. For those that don't know, each string you get in the kit can be separated into 6 smaller strings. The stitches will call for thicker or thinner, so you must pull them apart. This is the trickiest thing, but has nothing to do with this kit. Helps me work on my patience, though. :)

I made this for Mother’s Day this year, my mom is a huge crafter and homemade gifts go a long way with her since she recognizes the time and thought put into it. Last year I gave her mini succulents with mini potters and she loved it so I decided this will be a super cute way to follow last years gift. Anyway, I used to do embroidery and cross stitch with my grandmother when I was little so this was a fun project that brought back memories and was a great way to keep myself occupied during this quarantine. I did need to relearn certain stitching but the videos made it a lot easier. The finished product is so cute and I’m excited to mail it out later today and continue to do more of these as cute gifts for others and for my own use. The instructions were easy to follow, the kit itself is adorable and comes with everything you’ll need. I just loved it!

WOW I am in love with this kit! I ordered this in anticipation of some extended down time post-surgery and was not disappointed. I haven’t stitched in years but this was very easy and the step-by-step directions were super helpful. The colors and number of strands of each part were clearly labeled. The needles and hoop are included. It was really fun to work on.
You can kind of see the blue lines after you finish sewing. It’s not overly clear on the directions, but you rinse the finished cloth under water and the blue lines wash away. So cool!
I’ll be ordering another one :)

Quarentine made me do it😬 I’m glad I did, but let me just say, I’m not the artsy type AT ALL. Arts and crafts are a major fail for me, even though I admire the work of others! Anyway, I TRIED....the instructions were confusing but I watched the YouTube video and that was helpful. I just read a review that stated you’re supposed to pull the strings apart. (Oops! No wonder...) I would DEFINITELY order again, because despite my beginner struggles, it was so enjoyable to do! Truly amazing.
