I am elderly and have severe arthritis in my hands. To lift a heavy bucket of water and move it around when mopping is torture for me. I saw this flat mop in an ad and came to Amazon to shop around for one. I bought this one and I LOVE it!! I can fill and lift the smaller bucket that comes with it with ease, the flat mop works just fine on some pretty tough dirt, yet it rinses right off with a few plunges in the bucket to rinse it off. I found that I can leave it wet for heavier soiled areas or run the mop up and down on the "dry" side for a damp mop. I saw that one fellow left a video showing that it doesn't work and is hard to use. Nonsense! Even an older person with painful hands can do this. It makes me more independent. I can mop my own floor again. The bucket never even came close to tipping over (another complaint I saw on the neg. reviews). You'd have to kick it or something to knock it over when filled up on one side with nice hot water to give it some weight. Easy to dump out, too. I will be happy to grab this little miracle product whenever I see a mess occurring. It'll be a real piece of cake now!

I don't know how sturdy any of the other brands are, but this one is very good. I'm so glad that I got this one! THANK YOU, BOOMJOY!

This mop does exactly what we want! We need to damp mop our floor. This set actually pulls out the excess water from the mop to allow for just damp. The mop itself is very maneuverable, easy to use and does a very good job of cleaning. The bucket is easy to handle. Only one small problem (which is why the 4 star for 'easy to use') - wish the bucket was a little heavier on bottom. You DO need to be careful when pulling the mop in and out to remove the excess water. It tends to tip if you get a little too forceful. We put our legs against it to keep it steady. We will be buying a second one 'just in case' they are ever discontinued! We also use it to apply Rejuvenate to the floors (all 2000 sf of it). For the price, it is a great buy, and a very helpful item! Recommend without reservation.

Good mop! But, it could be better

Overall, this is a good mop. It is very very space efficient, with the mop being able to rest inside the mop bucket, which itself is a quite small rectangular prism and can fit easily in a corner or even under a sink. The mop can be disassembled as well, with different sections being able to be put in the mop bucket or beside it under the sink/elsewhere.

The mop works well, it definitely works best in my opinion mopping straight up and down away from your body. Where the mop falters is when you try to mop side to side.....you know, like a normal mop. The sections of the mop start to slowly come loose, at least for me, as you mop side to side, as that rotating motion to change directions with the mop makes your hands turn the threaded sections of the mop and loosen them, lol. So after about 5 minutes of mopping side to side, the mop sections almost came undone. Well, just mop straight up and down and this mop does the job very well. I love that the mop can get in corners so easily and stays in a perfect straight line.

The last con of this mop is that the entire mop head does not get wet when dunking it in the mop bucket. Even if you push the mop down all the way in the mop bucket, the top edge of the mop head does not get wet, meaning you have less area that you can actually mop with. Not a huge deal, you can shake the mop bucket and get that edge wet, but it adds another thing you have to do with an already simple operation, you know, mopping. Get this mop if you need to save space, but I think overall, I would prefer a mop with a mop bucket with one of those spinny drying parts, you push the mop on to get the water off the mop head. Would work better to get the dirt off the mop head and to wet the entire mop head.

We just had LVP floors installed throughout our whole house. Between taking up 22 year old carpet and padding, several layers of old subfloor and linoleum and the installers cutting the LVP to fit (on the front porch because it's rained for a week) this mop system has really cleaned up the dust! A few people have said that the drying/"wringing" side didn't do a good job..it literally cost zero effort and only a few seconds to push and pull the mop through the drying/"wringing" slot a few times. Once through the drying/"wringer" slot is enough for a more wet mop..two or three times is perfect for a damp mopping. It really gets all the fine dust and grit off the floor. Great product! Didn't come with instructions but easy to assemble the mop handle. MAKE SURE the bucket lid is snapped on all the way down onto the bucket before you lift it to carry..the handle is attached to the lid, not the bucket.

Ok, I got my mop on Saturday but today was my first time using it. I wasn't sure if this mop was going to be for me. I'm kind of picky, love things to be clean. It worked great, I loaded it with hot water, and took off. I have hardwood floors and even with ringing out the mop a couple of times I thought the floor had a lot of water on it. I used my bona cleaner in a spray bottle and I just mopped my floor. Then I switched the pad to a dry one and picked up as much water as I could. Before long my floor was dry. Then, I opened the top of the bucket to see if I was really getting that floor clean, omg..I was living in a dirt pit!!! My floors were beyond dirty. I think this mop does a better job than any other method. I would suggest this mop and bucket for anyone regardless of age, it's that easy. Great product, my floors will get done weekly now...love a clean house.
