Product Description

The Ultra Punch 3 Needle set comes with the ergonomic blue punch needle tool, 3 interchangeable needle tips (small, large, and a medium tip installed), two threaders, one open spring (for large needle), and a detailed instruction book. The handle is specially designed to prevent hand fatigue when punching and has adjustable loop heights that sets this punch needle apart from the rest! Be sure to look for the Ultra Punch Sampler that you see in picture #2 as a companion learning piece to go with your Ultra Punch Needle. Ultra Punch Sampler is sold separately. Ultra Punch Needle is for use with threads. Ultra Punch Needle is not for use with bulky yarns.

I just got into punch needle embroidery and this is absolutely an amazing needle set. The smaller needle size works perfect on smaller weave fabrics. The patch I posted was made with the smallest loop setting with 3 strands of embroidery thread in the smallest needle size. I’m currently working on another project with larger loops and it’s working beautifully. I’m really not one to write reviews but it’s just so good. Only warning I have is that the threader might be difficult to get through the hole on the side of the needle at first but once it’s done the first time it’s a lot easier.

I bought this for the smallest needle size. It is virtually impossible to thread and there are no extra instructions for the small size. The threaders that come with it do not fit. It will not take the doubled size of the wire. I’ve resigned myself to using the middle sized needle because it can be threaded, but I’m very disappointed that I can’t use the smallest.

Great tool for punchneedle embroidery

I have been watching numerous YouTube videos learning how to do punchneedle. It is a relaxing craft that goes pretty quickly, so you get instant gratification. Several experts use this brand of punchneedle. From what I have learned this is the one they all use, unless you want to use wool, then you need to buy a punchneedle for wool, like the Oxford brand. It is a little hard to load at first, but it isn't the fault of the product, just a little hard for a novice.
I use this for punching with embroidery floss and it really looks pretty once you get going. All the experts can't be wrong. About 90% of them seem to use this brand. Looks like it will last forever, unless it's misused or lost!
