This suit worked well to protect my husband from getting stung while handling our swarming wasp problem. The only place he got stung was through his shoe/sock (where the suit doesn't cover). It has a very strong odor (which is WAY more pleasant than a hundred stings). We would recommend wearing glasses or goggles with this, since the wasps were trying to fly at his eyes and the mesh seemed like it might reach that far if pushed in. The gloves were thick enough that he could pick the wasps off the mesh in time. I can't speak towards durability, since we don't plan to use this too frequently. Overall, it worked well!

Used to tackle a yellow jacket wasp hive wedged in an underground cavity.

For reference: I am shy of 5'11" and found that the sleeves were not long enough to extend comfortably over gloves, and the legs were not long enough (the suit has "feet"). Once inside boots, it meant that the pants had to be positioned further down the hips (hip hop style). The kit included long gloves, but they are not "outdoor work" gloves which were needed for using a shovel and pick as well as reaching into the hive.

Still, the outfit covered well enough to protect during a night battle with the pollinator / pest (I was forced into this but realize it is not the best thing for the yard's ecosystem) .

I did not experience the "plastic odor" mentioned by other reviewers.

This is an inexpensive solution made from inexpensive materials not meant for daily professional use. Price was right for what is likely to be a very rare endeavor.

I brought this suit to help me as I have to remove a wasp net (yellowjackets). I would have given this 5 stars except the hat on the suit is small and so the screen touches my face whenever I turn my head or look-up. If the any insect with a stinger goes for my face I'm definitely screwed. The second major problem is the smell is really intense, on its own it's not so bad but once you wear the suit and take it off you walk around smelling like a giant piece of plastic. I took the suit off and walked away and came back to the area I left the suit and that entire area the next day still smells like an overwhelming sense of plastic.

When you're out there bushwrestling to get all of the delicious tomatoes and other treats, this suit will not only make you look awesome, but its got your back - and the rest of your body.
