Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers like the quality and appearance of the fabric. They mention it's sturdy, has no issues with the weave, and looks great. That said, some complain about the texture, saying it'll be too stiff for embroidery and not stretchable at all.

Customers are satisfied with the appearance of the fabric. They mention that it is a great looking fabric, nice for a first time cross stitcher, and has an even weave. The black color is solid all around, making for colored fabric to really pop. It is good quality aida cloth, and the feel of the product is great, really sturdy and the dye doesn't rub off on your hands.

This fabric is 14 count but it's a little stiffer than most other Aida and none of the pieces I received were 12 inches by 18 inches. Most pieces were a half inch short for both the length and width. The one in the photos was the largest piece. It's not a big difference but still, it shouldn't be advertised as 12"x18" if it isn't going to be that large. I've washed several pieces and never had the black dye become uneven and it barely bled onto the kitchen towel I dried my pieces on.

Overall, this is exactly what I expected for a black aida.
Let me start off by saying this fabric came in their own zip lock bags, and individually plastic wrapped. The feel of this fabric is great, really sturdy and dye doesn’t rub off on your hands when using. I’ll definitely be buying more soon!

I bought this after the DMC reserve gold label black aida I had ran, staining my white stitching a light purple. (Despite color catchers and constantly running cold water.) I pre washed this adia and found the dye does not run! It’s good quality and nice to work with. Well, as nice as black aida can be, haha. Plus this is a lot more affordable than DMC brand.
