    Purchased as "Used, damaged packaging" the last day of the "Amazon Day" sales event. Sold by AMAZON and shipped by AMAZON in 2 days... The outer cardboard with the pictures of the boat was torn and taped back together but the styrofoam actual packing "crate" was undamaged. Everything was there and is seemingly brand new... BUT IT WILL NOT WORK! Even in water... Out of water... Different batteries in the boat... Not even a "servo twitch"... Transmitter turns on with a LCD display... I've checked... 8.2 volts going into the receiver box... No voltage on ANY wire coming out... Servo, motor wires OR the "water-switch"... which is supposed to turn on power to the boats receiver when the outer "drive-tube" and the brass nub sticking through the rear hull contact water. None of this works... Now I've got to convert it to a real RC control system. Bad luck all the way around... At least when I get it working, I KNOW IT'LL WORK RIGHT! I hope no one has this problem. Have fun and stay safe out there fellow RCer's....

    I live on a river so I get to use it at full speed. I had my first boat for about 3 weeks. First noticed that every time I use it I dump out a good amount of water. I don’t think it’s supposed to have that much water in it. I don’t think it’s good for all those wires and sensitive motor parts to be soaked. I believe I have a short. I heard an awful noise coming from the steering motor. Something happened to it and I never touched the steering unit. We contacted amazon so they sent another one. After I got my second boat the same thing happened. Kept filling with water... I just dump out water thinking “ oh this must be normal I guess” then just now I put it in the water then I hear the same awful noise again. Something is wrong with these boats. They can send me another one but I just know it will break again.

    Hi, I bought this product for my son from Amazon, and it was working fine all the time and he was happy with it. One day, we took it to the lake with a full battery and stop working in the middle of the lake until it sank.

    The servo broke... when I had the boat working it was amazing but then when it broke I can't get it fixed now. Amazing boat until it breaks!

    Wow! This thing flies in the water!
    Super tight turns. Great back-up function. Decent battery time on the water. Remote has a digital display.
    The only glitch, and this might be my fault but I could not figure out how to clip back on the top (with the seat) so i ended up using pack & ship tape to hold it on. No matter how many times I tried I could not get it to clip back on, and didn't want to crack the plastic messing with it. It was fine in the water being taped on.

    UPDATE: 2nd time using this the boat stopped going in reverse and no longer made sharp circles. We did recharge the batteries. Not sure what's going on so had to send it back. Complete bummer.
