6/2020 Kellogg's pulled out most Nutrients -Constipation?
Update 6/2020Over the years Kellogg's has been removing nutrients. Take a look at the new label and compare it to some older labels. I've been eating this cereal for years and can't understand why they just can't raise the price a few cents. It's not like anyone eats this cereal for the taste, we buy it for what it does.If you have had colon surgery (colon resection) and constipation is a part of your life, this cereal can help. I will eat a 1/2 cup serving at breakfast, lunch and before bed and this provides enough fiber for daily movement. Only folks with real constipation and fear the log know what I'm talking about. This is loaded with PSYLLIUM which is great for digestive health and basically it's the main ingredient in metamucil without all the sugar and fillers.The next best thing and to reduce the calories (this is only 60 per serving which is quite low) is pure PSYLLIUM husk and it works just as well when using about 125% daily fibre a day. The amount of calories in pure PSYLLIUM husk is cut in half.Hope it works as well for you as it has for me - 3 times a day is the amount I require and to help get you started. Adjust according to your personal needs.
