This case is amazing!!! I originally got it for my son to protect his new switch from the new hardwood floors, which is does. But this case also helped save me and my husband from an attacker. When picking up my son's switch from his friends house after a playdate, this huge man was mad that I parked on the edge of his property (thought it was open parking, I had a handicap placard, and was trying to leave). He ended up attacking me and my husband and this case not only helped defend us, but there was no damage to the switch as well. Plus side to the story is the guy is going to jail for the attack and my son still plays on his switch to this day.

This case is soooooo awesome!!! The pictures don't do it justice at all. I got the red and black and the red looks like anodized aluminum even though it is plastic. The panels are smoked see through and then it has a carbon fiber like striping in between. It fits very tightly and solidly. I wish the joy con's went in and out easier but it does work. I usually take them off to install or remove the case, it works well that way. All the holes line up perfectly and it feels good in the hands, although the hand nubs could be just a hair bigger, this does make it sit on a counter better though. Only downside is no access to the SD card and the case has to come off to use a jig. If you don't know what a jig is then ignore that. I suppose you could use a USB c extension to fix the jig issue. All in all you WILL LOVE THIS CASE!!!

Honestly the only product I've ever given a perfect review on. Let me just say that Mumba out did themselves with this case. The case adds an insane amount of comfort when holding it, as you have ergonomic handles that immensely decreases hand fatigue. I feel my hands not cramping up as much because I have a little bit more freedom when holding my switch.

Because the case is a sturdier design, it fits very snug around the switch which means it's not going anywhere! And getting the switch out of the case isn't a hassle either. Kudos for allowing to remove the joy cons w/out having to take the case off. Oh and the kick stand is what really sells it. I can't stand that little leg that Nintendo put on the switch. It offers little to no stability. So the fact that Mumba added a gigantic kick stand just adds to their attention to care.

Awesome work on this case guys!!

I love this case. It makes the switch extremely comfortable to hold, and I don't feel like the switch is going to snap if I hold it with one hand. With the bottom parts extended it feels like holding a controller - I love it. I will give this warning: it is fairly difficult to get the switch out of this case the first few times. I was worried I might break the switch it was so tight. But, with a couple transitions to and from the case I got better at it and now have no fears when taking it out - I'm just very careful. Highly recommend this case, it feels well made, the stand is extremely strong (another big selling point for me), and joycons remove easily. While one the subject of joycons, make sure you always take them out first before removing the switch from the case. I also always slide them in after the switch when putting into the case.

Is a great case, durable stand. But in the instructions it indicates that I can take the case off while the joy cons are still attached to the system. This is not instructed properly unless you want to risk breaking off your joy-cons while trying to remove the case. You must slide the joy cons out Everytime you want to take the case off/on. The joy cons slide out of the case in/out quite easily, thankfully. This is why the 4 star rating. Other than that, it seems to be quite rugged and comfortable to hold while gaming (although I only play it 30 minutes max). Have never dropped it to test the durability. I love the look of the case, seems to be quality made.
Would probably recommend the slim style to avoid having to take off the case every time you want to dock it unless you travel with it alot, but you'll rid the protection of dropping it I'm sure.
Also, the stand seems to be quite durable and quality made, in case you're worried about the systems default little kickstand breaking off by your younger gamers.

Exactly what you expect from a hard protective grip case. Seems of high quality material. Doesn't seem to make the system feel extra hot during play. I greatly enjoy the kickstand it seems to have a sturdy hinge and is wide enough to help it stand in most places. You will have to take the joycons out every time you take the case out each time you want to dock it. Another easy solution is to just get a small adapter that acts as a dock and you can plug in like a charger so you dont have to take the case off at all.(also it's cheaper than a replacement dock and is much more compact.) All in all it's a great case would highly recommend.

Love how this feels sturdy and the little see through windows in the back shows the zelda vinyl sticker I had originally put on the console. No more being nervous taking it with me on the go. If you want serious protection, buy this case! This is the best case for the Switch. The rubber/plastic mix makes it feel very sturdy and wonderful to hold. It is easy to install and take off.This case does not allow removal of the Joy Cons though. If you use your device in hand held mode mostly, this is actually better because it feels very sturdy and also has slight hand grips which feel very very nice. The case does add some weight to it but not too bad. The protection is worth the weight.

CONS
1) Very rigid. Hard to get Switch in and out of the case. I was only able to get the Switch in the case without 1 of the joycons installed. Once the Switch is set in the case I can slide the 2nd joycon into the case. The same goes with removing the Switch. I have to remove 1 joycon first. Then carefully slide the Switch over to the empty space. Then I can take out the Switch.

If you're a person who needs to always take the Switch out of the case then you might find this case extremely annoying. Otherwise, this is a great case.
