Overalls they work as expected. Nothing to write home about but do the job and does it well. BUT some of them are falling apart after 1-2 washes!Photo shows two of the 6–the one on the left is after one wash (before mopping), the one on the right is after a second wash (after one mop). The others look fine so far 🤞🏼I’m not very hard on these pads. Washed with other rags and towels (so no zippers or buttons to snag on). Hoping these are the only two that fall apart! Really disappointed

My cat has a bladder problem, and pees on the laundry room linoleum floor. At first I used a sponge mop. But the urine dissolved the sponge and the glue that held its layers together.

So I thought that I would try a Cinch microfiber mop. It worked well, but only came with two pads.

Now I have 18 microfiber pads, which makes cleanup a cinch. I don my rubber gloves, and it takes but a few minutes to clean up, taking advantage of my large supply of microfiber pads.

(1) I dribble a little dilute Pine Sol into the puddles. This is to kill germs and odor.

MOP PAD #1:
(2) I then clean up the puddles with the mop (which already has a microfiber pad on it from the last time).
(3) I let a little water run in the laundry tube and press the mop down into the water a few times to rinse it. Then with the little bit of clear water that is still clinging to the mop, I use the mop to remove any Pine Sol residue from the floor (because cats are sensitive to chemicals).
(4) I then rinse the pad in the laundry tub, hand wring it and hang it over the side to dry. (Later, I will toss it into a plastic bag with other pads that are waiting for their weekend washing).

MOP PAD #2:
(5) I now take a fresh, clean pad, and damp-dry the floor. I rinse that one out and hang it over the side of the laundry tub.

MOP PAD #3:
(6) A third pad thoroughly drys the floor, which I leave on the mop for the next cleanup.

I really used only TWO new mop pads, because the first one was still on the mop, left over from the previous use.

That sounds like a SOUND LIKE A LOT of steps,
BUT once you get the rhythm of it, it ONLY TAKES A COUPLE OF MINUTES.

When I have used up 17 of my 18 microfiber pads, I throw them in the washer with a little dilute Pine Sol, and a laundry pod. I wash on the “Towel” setting, which is warm water and high spin drying. That leaves the pads damp-dry, so I throw them in the dryer on its “Ultra-low” heat setting. (I think that “Low” would be fine. I might try that next time).
